Yay, just returned from Corfu after spending a week there on holiday with Phoebe. We stayed in Paleokastrista which is in the north-west side of Corfu in a nice hotel over looking the bay. The weather was warm although we did suffer from a day and a half of rain but that just gave us time to really sample the beer, chill and read lots. We did take a walk up the hill to the monastary where we found a small kittern who looked like he needed looking after. Same we couldn’t take him home! 🙂
We also managed to hire a quad bike and rode around the northern end of the island. Spread over most of the island are lots of olive groves and seem to grove in abundance in the warm climate. Not surprising that you can get most products on the island made from the either the tree or the produce of the branches! 🙂
