Rick the plasterer has started the work plastering in my bedroom. As parts of the ceiling were bulging we had to nail batons into the joists so the plasterboard could be secured onto them. Once that was done, plasterboard tape was put over the joins and then it was skimmed. Hopefully Rick will finish the rest of the walls tomorrow but unfortunately he’s got to plaster the gaps which are back to brick with a 4 to 1 sand / cement mixture with some additive in it.
