Can’t believe it, after 2 1/2 years on the council allotment waiting list, we received a letter in the post to notify us that there is a vacancy for a plot…..so without delay I phoned up to confirm that we’d like to accept the councils offer! 😉 Once we get through all the paperwork and get a key to get into the site, we’re going to have a steep learning curve of what to do with half an allotment! I suppose we’d better get reading some of the vast gardening books we’ve got. 🙂
