We finally had the steel loft supports installed today and Rob & Fred from C and T Building Services did a fantastic job in one day. Now that those are installed, we can then think about getting the new floor joists in so I can then continue finishing the room which will be turned into my office / spare room. We’re going to eventually get stairs put in but for the time being I’m going to apply for building regs by getting the plans approved by the local council. This means that all the work will conform to the current building regulations which should make our lives easier when we come to sell (if we ever do). 😉
